Overall Statement

Overall Reflection Statement for Christian Leadership

For my competence in Christian leadership, I am submitting our ministry plan which demonstrates the power of teamwork, collaboration, working within our strengths and coming together for a common cause.  We hired a professional consultant to help us with this as she has a number of degrees as well as significant time in the nonprofit world.  She was a tremendous help in putting this ministry plan together that also functions as our training guide. this is a testament to strategically investing money in the long term because the short term budget didn't necessarily justify this move however the long-term training and development of leaders that are bringing more participants into the ministry and ergo more donations and donations and time talent treasure it's been a worthwhile investment. we are also going back to her for further development of more detailed handbook and training modules for our leaders and participants. by involving others with varying skills and abilities where showing the mini members of one body and when we love others love one another crisis love us we're showing to the world that we are his disciples. often times that's not easy when you have strong personalities and it's all volunteer work typically with one or maybe two paid it out of the whole collective however it has been achievable and it's always worth striving for.

Our Ministry Plan is our leadership guide. We teach directly out of it as it details our mission, vision, origin story, our Biblical principles and core values, as well as our strategic goals.

Artifacts

Staff and Volunteer Handbook is used as a guide to train them our policies and procedures. I learned in this process that it requires a specific skill to be able to properly write these up, which I do not have! This meant we needed to hire a consultant who doe specialize in this. She did a phenomenal job. This process also put on display the wisdom of "many members of one body" as Paul used to describe the necessity for believers to respect and embrace differences within the community of faith.

Mentor progress reports: Leadership training one to one weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Every Tuesday: Matthew, Isaac, Marcus and Justin Every other Tuesday: Will and Joseph Every Thursday: Nicholas and Ron Leadership goals ID new leaders: Michael, Joseph, Lopez, Marcus Montejano, Joshua, Zack, Monique & Terri

Learning Reflection

As I developed and demonstrated Christian leadership, I have learned is that servant leadership that is truly humble, transparent , authentic, and vulnerable is attractive and contagious. Our participants, members, and leaders are all in a restoration and recovery process primarily from sexual bondage and porn addictions. Which is still one of the lepers of our current Christian culture.  Other proverbial thorns in the side are more welcomed and readily treated with a myriad of options. This particular one is sorely lacking. although has gotten exponentially better in the last decade or so is still grossly under served one of the organizations we work with fear desire did a recent study and discovered that only 7% of churches have a holistic approach to combating sexual bondage poor addiction to the level of recovery and restoration and transformation i.e. the demonic stronghold is truly demolished their number over 34 million men in our country alone.

this is the most fruitful successful ministry that I've ever led for sure and I believe to be so in regards to even my participation and of course the main glorious to God in the spirits guiding in and working through us and the testimony the willingness of our participants members and especially leaders to be vulnerable to focus on the plank in their eye first before the spec in their brothers eye and make it exceedingly evident that if it wasn't for the spirit of God working through their weaknesses that are ever present and available invisible they nor I could be maintaining sobriety restoration recovery and continued to transform into Christ image from glory glory measurable ways

One of our most effective leaders who has who have held the highest positions we offer consistently goes back to this theme as the main reason he sticks around and that he recruits others and trains others and equipped others as a level of vulnerability authenticity and truth that the word of God has taught as Dallas the logical mantra of teach truth love well. This is actualized in one to one discipleship and small group in the notes in our archives show my schedule and although my schedule has not yet been duplicated elements of it at our being replicated

Lifelong Development Statement

As a result of the experiences documented by these artifacts, I will continue to develop in Christian leadership by continuing to study walk talk live deny self take up my cross and follow the master. in each of my conversations in my small groups in large groups teaching the word of God teaching the ways of Christ will continue to refine me and develop Christ characteristics as the spirit of God continues to do the sanctification work. I plan to take on professional teaching roles whether it's paid or unpaid I will continue to disciple men and women but specifically men and help them become more like Christ and more effective leaders as we continue to expand in our local area and beyond. we currently are in several cities of Texas are in India and following the relationships that we've built as they move around the country and we are opening up outpost all over the country servant leadership humble vulnerable authentic surrendered to Christ holy dependent on Christ is our model and we will continue to take territory from our true enemy not fleshing blood but principalities powers and rulers of the darkness of this world. We will continue to follow the example of Christ who is setting the captives free, binding up the brokenhearted, releasing from darkness the captives, just as the prophet Isaiah said. The harvest is truly bountiful and the labors are few in comparison but our goal is to continue to equip and train those that the Lord sends into the harvest.

I am an avid reader and a novice author with aspirations to write many books and produce teaching curriculum therefore my higher education will continue, Lord willing, and I do plan to take full advantage of the opportunity to take classes at the Dallas Theological for free as well as the mini resources available to alumni.
